Colorado judges told me I needed to take down Donald Trump. I said no.

Statist politicians breathe a sigh of relief that a state court may help them undermine the basic rights of voters without having to admit they want to so badly themselves. It won't work.

Years of effort. Nothing found. Teflon is slippery.

Since 2016, the political class and permanent Washington have been pulling legal levers in an attempt to destroy Donald Trump. These people don’t care about his notorious years of philandering and broken marriages. They were never concerned a bit about that notorious video they used in their attempt to take him down just before November 2016. Their concern was always their own power which they rightly saw threatened by a strong populist movement behind Donald Trump.

After Trump’s victory that November, they knew they had a credible threat to their long-established, unchallenged order. They began pulling the strings of three-letter agencies. They coerced weak Republicans to create a Special Council to investigate. I won’t repeat the story. We all know it too well. Every investigation seemed strong and perilous for Trump at first. But upon further inspection were found to be weak and petty. After all that effort over four years: nothing.

Think about that. They literally got nothing not a criminal or civil conviction and two failed impeachments. Even I was surprised by it. Donald Trump after years of investigations by agencies adept at finding dirt and exposing it came out with nothing. They couldn’t even harm him politically. The seething rage was evident. But Donald Trump was able to laugh it off.

After Trump left office (and I note here he did voluntarily leave office), the next phase began. Lawfare! You could hear them saying it, “we’ve got him now!” But they had to change up the game a bit. And now they had someone in the White House who could pull the right strings to have a chance to make it stick.

January 6th had happened. They played it up in the media characterizing it as an “insurrection” for months (it wasn’t). They just knew they could convince the public he was behind it. They started first with the illegal J6 Committee. They stacked the decks even by keeping Jim Jordan and Jim Banks from participating. What happened? Nothing. They didn’t convince anyone. “Sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

Then Jack Smith went to bat. He raided Mar-a-Lago giving the impression that “no ex-President in the history of the world has ever maintained classified documents…..EVER!” (pant, pant, chest beating, hand on the forehead, drop to the knees, moan and cry!) That’s a lie. It happened over, and over, and over, and over again.

Next, the J6 indictment. “No one is above the law!” Really? Is that true? Every American—even Biden supporters and Trump haters—know this is a fraud. Jack Smith has been hoping these intricate cases with millions of pages of documents would be rushed to conviction before November 2024. But it’s not happening.

The Colorado Supreme Court did for politicians and permanent Washington what they couldn’t do for themselves. They provided “legal” cover for the nefarious effort to take out a political opponent.

All these efforts were never about justice. They were never about finding the truth. They had no intention to bring a criminal to justice. They knew Trump is no criminal. That was already established when Robert Muller submitted his report then John Durham proved the entire Russia Hoax effort was a scam concocted by “the Deep State” or whatever you call it.

But the radical left Colorado Supreme Court lawlessly created a pretense of criminality they hope will stick. “Donald Trump is an insurrectionist, and we had to remove him from the ballot to ‘protect democracy.’” That’s the message. It’s merely a charade built upon a canard wrapped in an enigma sealed up and delivered to media hounds who love lies (though they are too stupid to untangle enigmas).

Yet, once again. None of this will work. At every step: failure. Why? Because the American people aren’t stupid. They may be slow on the uptake. But they eventually get it.
